Located on the Guruvayur Outer Ring Road, just 200 meters from the private bus stand, The Gitanjali Wedding House immediately impressed our creative team. We realized that this is not just an auditorium but a premium luxury wedding estate. Situated just 300 meters from the East Nada of the sacred Guruvayur Temple (only a 4-minute walk), this venue is an excellent choice for clients looking for a destination wedding experience.
Spread across approximately one acre of beautifully landscaped greenery, with a traditional Kerala-style “Illam” architectural design, the venue has its own distinctive charm. After carefully inspecting every inch of the property, the Melodia team has created the following maximum utilization blueprint for our clients.
The venue features five modern air-conditioned mini halls, each better than the other. Every hall has a seating capacity of 100 guests, while the venue can accommodate a total of 300 guests. According to Melodia’s planning, one hall can be transformed into the main stage décor area for the bride and groom, while the remaining halls can simultaneously function as family lounges, photo booth areas, and guest relaxation spaces. The venue’s best-in-class sound and lighting system creates an outstanding party atmosphere for indoor celebrations.
The venue offers a large indoor dining space that is ideal for serving traditional Kerala Sadya as well as multi-cuisine buffet meals. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisines are available, and clients also have the freedom to arrange outside catering if they prefer (Outside Food Allowed).
For evening receptions and celebrations, the venue features a spacious outdoor lawn with a seating capacity of 500 guests. Through Melodia’s exclusive outdoor décor concepts (Outside Decor Allowed), this garden area can be transformed into a fairy-tale setting using elegant lighting and floral decorations.
The venue provides secure on-site parking for 40 cars and 20 motorcycles at a time. Dedicated security personnel ensure the safety of guests and vehicles throughout the event. Additionally, the property is equipped with handicap-accessible ramps for guests with mobility challenges.
For guests travelling from distant locations, the wedding house offers six premium air-conditioned rooms. These rooms are equipped with in-room satellite television, high-speed Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, and excellent housekeeping services.
A dedicated bridal suite, known as the “Maniyara,” is specially designed for the bride and groom. It serves as a luxurious changing room during the wedding preparations and is also ideal for their first night after the wedding.

“Rahul and Anjali, who were settled in Bangalore, always wished to have their wedding ceremony in the divine presence of Lord Guruvayurappan, followed by an elegant reception for their close family and friends. After the wedding ceremony at the temple, we selected The Gitanjali because guests could easily walk to the venue without any travel inconvenience.
After the morning temple visit, all the guests arrived at the venue. We had designed a royal-themed indoor décor with elegant lighting across the halls. Since each indoor hall comfortably accommodated 100 guests, every ceremony proceeded smoothly without overcrowding. At lunchtime, a traditional Kerala Sadya with a wide variety of dishes was served in the spacious dining hall.
As evening approached, we moved the reception celebrations to the expansive outdoor lawn. Surrounded by beautiful fountains, Melodia created an open-air stage decorated with fairy lights, complete with a live music band and seating arrangements for 500 guests. The six premium rooms and the beautifully designed bridal suite were allocated to the bride and groom’s families, giving them the complete feeling of a luxury resort wedding. After the celebrations, the traditional decorations arranged in the ‘Maniyara’ bridal suite became one of Rahul and Anjali’s most cherished memories. Melodia delivered a wedding experience that perfectly combined serenity with luxury.”
