Away from the rush of Kochi, yet located right in the heart of the city! This convention centre is situated just 1 kilometre away from Kaloor Junction. With easy access to Kochi Metro (Kaloor & JLN Stadium stations) and Ernakulam North Railway Station, reaching the venue is extremely convenient for guests.
As we enter the venue, we are welcomed by a spacious approach road and a huge front yard that can accommodate more than 500 vehicles at the same time. This parking space was extremely helpful for Melodia’s valet parking team to manage the arrangements smoothly.
Spread across a 4-acre waterfront property, this centre is an architectural wonder built across 1 lakh square feet. The exterior showcases traditional Kerala-style sloping roofs and designs, while stepping inside opens the doors to a world of modern luxury.
The interiors feature beautiful vertical gardens, an indoor pond, and water fountains, creating a refreshing and peaceful atmosphere for guests. For elderly guests and others, the venue provides escalator facilities and lifts for easy access to upper floors. The spacious lobby also gives guests a comfortable and relaxing experience.
When guests enter the grand auditorium of Bhaskareeyam Convention Centre, the first thing that captures their attention is the beautifully designed royal stage. With a seating capacity of more than 1,500 people, Melodia’s designers recreated a grand traditional-luxury theme that perfectly matched the heritage charm of Bhaskareeyam.
For the massive 2,500 square feet stage, we created a royal palace-like ambience with golden pillars and carved panels as the backdrop. To enhance the grandeur, the design was completed with large red and yellow silk fabric ceiling works along with elegant white floral decorations.
The large circular floral arrangement hanging at the centre of the stage, with white flowers flowing downwards (Floral Drop Chandelier), made the stage even more attractive. Through this, Melodia successfully blended the traditional mandap style with modern lighting elements.
The red designer carpet (Red Royal Carpet) placed on the staircase and centre pathway leading to the stage gave the bride and groom a grand entry experience. Large rose garlands on both sides of the stairs and golden traditional lamps placed below added beauty to every corner of the stage.
With a massive 2,500 square feet stage, Melodia’s professional team successfully designed the space in a grand way without making it feel empty.
Bhaskareeyam Convention Centre has a total of 5 event spaces. This layout helps Melodia conduct different wedding functions at the same venue while giving each event a unique experience.
With a seating capacity of 1,500 people and a floating capacity of 2,250 people, this hall is fully centrally air-conditioned. The huge 2,500 square feet stage is perfectly suitable for Melodia’s luxury floral decorations, wedding themes, and also large stage events like reality shows and exhibitions.
A spacious dining area is arranged separately from the main function hall, where 600 people can dine at the same time. A modern and hygienic kitchen facility is available along with it.
(Note: Bhaskareeyam Convention Centre is a venue dedicated only to pure vegetarian functions.)
The venue has two mini halls, each capable of accommodating around 150 to 300 people. These are ideal choices for smaller pre-wedding events like engagements, haldi, mehendi, press conferences, executive meetings, and board meetings.
