Our Event Experience at This Venue

The experience of the grand wedding recently organized by Melodia Event Management at the international-standard Luxotica International Convention Center in Dharmashala, Kannur, is something our team can never forget. Located just 35 kilometers from Kannur Airport, this venue is the ‘best’ in terms of practicality. Within its 50,000 square feet area, we created magic by focusing on two main spaces using our 18 years of experience:

A Grand Welcome and Basement Parking (The Seamless Entry)

As the guests’ vehicles started arriving one by one on the wedding day, our Information Service (Visitor Info Services) counters at Luxotica’s grand entrance were already active. When large buses and VIP vehicles arrived, we were able to smoothly manage parking into the spacious basement car parking area with the support of 24-hour security. There was not even a single block of vehicles outside!

The First Space We Used: The Excitement of the Main Auditorium

The main ceremonies were completely arranged at the centrally air-conditioned, fully acoustic auditorium, which can accommodate 1,000 guests at the same time.

Audio Magic: In normal halls, sound echo issues are common. But when Luxotica’s professional 35,000-watt state-of-the-art audio system was synchronized with our live music band, the atmosphere felt like an international music concert! The power of the sound reached every corner of the hall with the same quality.

Luxury Seating: The comfort provided to all the guests with spacious push-back seats is something truly worth mentioning.

Digital Backdrop: When we designed the massive built-in LED panel behind the stage according to the wedding theme, the bride and groom’s entry and performances looked as beautiful as a theatre screen experience.

The Second Space We Used: Grand Dining Hall (The Feast)

After the main ceremonies, we selected the spacious Grand Dining Hall, which can accommodate 500 guests at a time, to serve the guests a grand feast.

Here, our catering team arranged special in-house food management for VIPs and other guests. Since the dining hall also has its own audio system, guests were able to enjoy their meals peacefully while listening to light music. The large kitchen facility helped us serve premium dishes hot and on time.

Although we used only these two main halls, Luxotica, which has the capacity to accommodate up to 2,500 people at the same time, also offers several excellent facilities for other requirements:

Mini Auditorium: A 200-seater mini auditorium with a projector and its own audio system is available here for smaller events.

Board Meeting Room: A conference room for 10 people with projector facilities, suitable for business discussions and VIP meetings.

Luxury AC Suites: Large luxury rooms with wardrobe and locker facilities, allowing the bride, groom, and family members to get ready and relax safely.
