Here, we are sharing the wonderful experience of planning and executing a wedding at this beautiful 34-acre organic farmland, along with the efforts and dedication of the Melodia team…

1. Hassle-Free Access: The Guest Arrival (The Road & Arrival)

Talking about the journey, after taking a turn from Kochi–Salem National Highway (NH 544) and travelling through the Nallepilly–Chittur road, Melodia’s large decoration trucks and luxury travel vehicles carrying guests reached the farm smoothly. Since the road is wide and convenient, even large vehicles had no difficulty accessing the venue.

As soon as we entered through the main gate, we were welcomed by a spacious parking area that could comfortably accommodate around 50 vehicles. For the guests, we ensured a seamless arrival experience by arranging wheelchair-friendly pathways and proper lighting in advance, allowing them to reach the main venue without having to walk long distances.

2. The Green Beauty of 34 Acres & Open Auditorium (The Venue Structure & Features)

Walking forward from the parking area, the endless greenery of the 34-acre coconut groves and organic farmland welcomed us. The true essence of Palakkad’s village atmosphere was present even in the air!

The biggest attraction here is the unique venue structure:

• Outdoor Open Auditorium (Capacity – 50 Pax):
  For a wedding ceremony under the open sky, surrounded by nature, it is difficult to find a better location. Avoiding plastic and artificial elements completely, we designed an Eco-Traditional Mandap using only traditional elements like native marigold flowers, jasmine flowers, coconut leaves (kuruthola), and traditional brass lamps (Nilavilakku).

When the bride and groom exchanged garlands with the Palakkad breeze flowing around them and the Western Ghats creating a beautiful backdrop, it became a truly unforgettable visual moment.

• Indoor Site / Hall (Capacity – 100 Pax):
  In case of unexpected rain or sunlight, there is a beautiful air-conditioned hall right next to the outdoor venue to welcome and accommodate guests. After the wedding ceremony, we smoothly guided the guests into this space.

A traditional Kerala-style vegetarian feast served on banana leaves was arranged here. The fact that the organic vegetables used for the feast were freshly harvested from Thanima’s own farmland made the food experience even more special.

Overall, this venue has the perfect capacity for an intimate, close-knit destination wedding of around 90 to 100 guests, including only close family members and friends.

3. Traditional Heritage Stay Experience (The Heritage Stay)

For the main wedding guests, the property offers 25 modern rooms for comfortable accommodation. We personally inspected and arranged bookings for the guests in traditional Kerala-style Naalukettu Luxury Villas featuring wooden craftsmanship, the spacious Red Fort Villas suitable for group stays, and nature-friendly accommodations like Bamboo Huts and Tree Houses.

Each room beautifully preserves the traditional charm while offering all modern facilities, including air conditioning and comfortable amenities.

4. Not Just a Wedding, It’s a ‘Wedding Vacation’! (Activities & Fun)

The thing Melodia loved the most was that this was not just a wedding event; it became a memorable mini-vacation experience for all the guests.

The Haldi – Pool Party arranged by Melodia around the resort’s 3 traditional swimming pools on the evening before the wedding is still a beautiful memory for everyone.

Apart from this, the property offers more than 30 activities. While elders enjoyed experiences like farm tours, butterfly gardens, and bullock cart rides, cousins and friends actively participated in adventure activities like Zipline, Sky Cycling, Giant Swing, boating, and ATV tracks.

Through these experiences, we were able to transform a simple 2-hour wedding ceremony into a memorable 2-day family reunion celebration.
