At Melodia Event Management, we had the wonderful opportunity to organize a grand wedding celebration for one of our clients at Grace Convention Centre. From the initial planning stages to the final moments of the event, the venue offered the perfect setting for a seamless and memorable wedding experience.
One of the first things our team noticed was the calm and green surroundings of the venue. Unlike crowded city locations, the convention centre is set amidst open spaces and greenery, creating a peaceful and elegant atmosphere. This natural setting also provided beautiful backdrops for wedding photography, making the couple’s photo sessions truly stunning.
The accessibility of the venue played a key role in the smooth execution of the event. Guests could easily reach the location as it is situated around 4 km from Mavelikara Railway Station and about 6 km from Mavelikara KSRTC Bus Stand. Clear connectivity ensured that guests arrived on time without any difficulty.
For the main wedding ceremony, we utilized the Majestic Ballroom, the primary hall of the venue. This fully centralised air-conditioned hall has a seating capacity of around 1200 guests and features theatre-style seating, which added a premium feel to the event. The stage is spacious with multiple entry points, allowing us to create a grand and elegant bridal entry. The hall also includes two well-maintained green rooms, providing comfort and privacy for the bride and groom during preparations.
The overall layout of the venue made event management extremely convenient. The dining hall and function hall being on the same floor ensured smooth guest movement, avoiding crowding and helping the program flow without interruptions.
The venue also offers the Imperial Ballroom, located on the second floor, which served as an excellent dining space during the event. This hall features a beautiful balcony view, accommodates around 700 guests, and includes stainless steel dining tables, cushioned chairs, and well-maintained restrooms, ensuring a comfortable dining experience for all guests.
Additionally, there is a Conference Hall with fully centralised air conditioning, a seating capacity of around 150 guests, and a floating capacity of 300+ guests. The hall supports buffet dining and has a bright and pleasant ambience, making it suitable for smaller gatherings and pre-wedding functions.
One of the major highlights of the venue was the parking and guest convenience facilities. With both indoor and outdoor parking spaces accommodating around 300 cars, managing guest arrivals was easy. For this wedding, we arranged valet parking services, which added a premium touch and ensured a hassle-free experience for guests.
The venue is also well-equipped with modern amenities such as lift access for easy movement between floors, premium deluxe guest rooms for family stays, spacious wash areas, and well-maintained rest areas. The presence of generator backup ensured that the event continued smoothly without any interruptions.
The reception area of the venue is well-arranged and aesthetically pleasing, making it ideal for welcoming guests and setting the tone for the celebration. Additionally, the venue offers outdoor space, and if clients prefer an outdoor wedding setup, arrangements can be customized according to their preferences, providing flexibility in event planning.
Another advantage we experienced was the venue’s openness to external vendors. For this wedding, we arranged outside decoration, DJ services, catering, and beverage services, allowing us to design the entire event exactly as per the client’s vision.
Throughout the event, facilities such as dedicated kitchen space, reliable internet connection for live streaming, cleaning staff, and waste management systems ensured smooth operations behind the scenes.
The dining experience was well organized, with ample space for guests to enjoy their meals comfortably. The venue supports both vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisines, and the availability of purified drinking water and clean dining areas added to the overall comfort of the guests.
The location is also convenient for traditional ceremonies, with St. George Church Mavelikara located approximately 15 km away and Sree Puthiyakavu Devi Temple around 10 km from the venue, making it suitable for both Christian and Hindu wedding functions.
Overall, our experience managing this wedding at Grace Convention Centre was extremely positive. The combination of spacious halls, modern infrastructure, excellent amenities, and serene surroundings helped our team at Melodia Event Management create a truly memorable and beautifully executed wedding celebration. The Majestic Ballroom hall is made to make your events special. It has cool air from air-conditioners and nice furniture. The main hall can hold up to 1200 people, and there’s a balcony with 200 soft push-back seats.
There are also green rooms on the stage where performers or guests can rest. The stage is very big and has more than one entrance, so people can come and go easily during the program.
Imperial Ballroom
The Imperial Ballroom is another great hall for events. It is also air-conditioned and well-furnished. This hall can hold up to 700 people. There is a separate VIP dining area on the same floor that is also cool and comfortable. A stage platform is also there for shows or speeches.
