Gramam Homestay, also known as Neduveli House, is a renovated traditional coconut farmhouse nestled right beside the backwaters in peaceful Kumbalangi village—around 10 km south of Fort Kochi, 45 km from Cochin International Airport, and about 13 km from Ernakulam Junction Railway Station
The property spans roughly three acres of coconut groves, mango trees (including a 200-year-old tree named Chandanakaran), areca, pepper, pineapple, and medicinal plants
Backwater Cottage (Non‑AC): A spacious twin‑bedroom cottage (sleeps up to four) with a rooftop open‑air shower, veranda overlooking the backwaters, kitchenette, solar‑heated water—excellent for longer, self‑catering stays 100 m from the host’s main house
AC Garden Room: Interconnected rooms in the main house under the century‑old mango tree, fan‑cooled with optional AC, private sit‑out garden view. Suitable for up to 3 people
Homemade Kerala cuisine prepared by the host family, especially local specialties by Mrs Lyma. Breakfast is complimentary; dinner requires pre-ordering
Guests frequently highlight the warmth and helpfulness of hosts Jos and Lyma in assisting with local tips, travel arrangements, and organizing village experience
Onsite & local experiences:
