Melodia Event Management Company has had the opportunity to organize memorable wedding events at Kayal Kadavu, a beautiful backwater-side venue near Guruvayur. The venue is well known for its scenic surroundings, where calm backwaters and greenery create a peaceful and refreshing environment for weddings and celebrations.
One of the unique features of Kayal Kadavu is that the venue is surrounded by water on multiple sides, offering guests a truly relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. Because of this natural beauty, visitors rarely feel bored at the venue. The location provides several picturesque spots that are perfect for photography, which is why many couples and young guests love visiting this place. The backwater scenery and greenery create a stunning backdrop for wedding photos, engagement pictures, and candid moments. Melodia had the privilege of organizing a wedding ceremony at the venue, where the couple specifically requested an outdoor stage setup. Their main requirement was that the beautiful backwater view should be visible in their wedding photographs. To achieve this, the Melodia team designed an open-style stage décor that enhanced the celebration without blocking the scenic water view behind the stage. This thoughtful decoration allowed the couple to capture memorable wedding photographs with the natural beauty of the venue in the background.
During the event, special attention was given to the comfort and experience of all guests. Children attending the wedding had plenty of open space to play and enjoy themselves, as the venue provides large outdoor areas where kids can move freely. This family-friendly environment ensured that guests of all age groups had a pleasant time throughout the celebration. The venue also provides a guest room for rest and grooming, which was helpful for the hosts and participants during the event preparations. However, the venue is mainly designed for hosting programs and does not provide overnight accommodation.
In addition to the wedding ceremony, Melodia also organized a Haldi ceremony for the bride and groom at Kayal Kadavu. This event took place in the evening and created a lively and joyful atmosphere. The stage decoration for the Haldi function was designed with a beautiful green and yellow theme, which perfectly matched the traditional style of the ceremony. Comfortable seating arrangements were provided for guests so that everyone could enjoy the event in a relaxed setting.
To make the Haldi ceremony more engaging and entertaining, Melodia arranged traditional games and fun activities for the bride, groom, and their family members. Games such as Uriyadi and Vadam Vali (tug of war) brought excitement and laughter to the event, and many guests actively participated. Since the function was held at night, the Melodia team carefully planned additional lighting arrangements and reliable power backup to ensure that the celebrations and games could continue smoothly without interruptions. The lighting setup created a vibrant atmosphere and was highly appreciated by the clients and guests.
