FARM-TO-TABLE CUISINE

The food here serve is all home-cooked. All their ingredients are organic and is sourced directly from the farmland, especially the vegetables and fruits. Some meats and seafood are of course sourced from the neighboring village market. But it is all made at home under Kavitha’s strict supervision and directions. The Site offer traditional Keralan cuisine, popular South Indian dishes as well as North Indian specialties and continental cuisine. The food is served à la carte at the common dining area next to the farmhouse. Buffets are set out to custom requirements of the guests for larger groups.

PICK & PAY

During the mango harvest seasons, they invite guests to participate in their Pick-&-Pay program, allowing adults and children to experience mango-picking, straight from their trees. The guests are assisted by the farm staff during picking, and the guests’ harvest is then weighed, and the mangoes are sold at prevailing wholesale rates. Since the opening in 2011, the Pick-&-Pay program has been one of the most sought-after activities of  patrons. The mangoes are still green when harvested from the trees, and are expected to ripen within a week from picking. Mangoes are not usually left to ripen on the tree, to avoid infestation from pests and spoilage. The Pick-&-Pay Program is available only during the mango harvest seasons, and participants are required to pre-register.
