Melodia Event Management had the pleasure of curating a beautiful and intimate wedding celebration at Mia Garden, one of the most serene backwater venues in Fort Kochi. With around 150 guests in attendance, the celebration was perfectly crafted as a warm, personal, and intimate wedding experience. Surrounded by lush greenery, coconut trees, and calming waterfront views, the venue offers a perfect blend of indoor comfort and outdoor natural beauty, making it an ideal choice for intimate and traditional weddings.
The venue features an indoor hall with a seating capacity of around 400 guests, along with a spacious open lawn that can also accommodate approximately 350 people. For smaller, more private functions, the space comfortably hosts up to 50 guests, creating a cozy and personal setting. With 6 AC rooms available, the venue ensures convenient accommodation for close family members.
One of the most distinctive features of Mia Garden is its expansive lawn filled with vibrant plants, trees, and swaying coconut palms, offering a refreshing tropical Kerala vibe. The permanent pagoda adds charm to the setting and serves as a perfect spot for elegant setups. The open sky, natural breeze, and peaceful surroundings make it an exceptional choice for outdoor daytime weddings, while also creating a magical ambience for evening celebrations.
Melodia designed the wedding of Mridul and Athira with a traditional garden-themed stage, beautifully styled using soft and elegant elements that blended seamlessly with the natural surroundings. The entrance was enhanced with a wooden frame arch decorated in pastel shades of pink and white flowers, creating a subtle yet graceful welcome. A red carpet aisle with golden patterns added a royal touch, leading to a well-defined bride entry pathway that felt both grand and elegant.
The seating arrangement was kept minimal and well-organized, with chairs aligned in symmetrical rows. White chair covers paired with yellow bow tie accents brought a vibrant and festive feel without overpowering the natural beauty of the venue. The mandap featured a cream-colored canopy with soft, flowy drapes and a subtle backdrop, giving it a classy and dreamy appearance while maintaining a traditional essence.
From a practical perspective, the venue offers ample parking facilities, including two additional parking spaces, along with around 20 slots near the indoor area. However, access to the venue is through a slightly narrow road in a residential area, as it is located at the endpoint, which can feel a bit congested at times. During nighttime events, there can be minor mosquito disturbances, but Melodia ensured complete guest comfort by making the necessary arrangements to manage this seamlessly.
