Recently, our senior design and logistics team visited Namas International Convention Centre in Althara, Guruvayur, to conduct a comprehensive site inspection. From the main road access to the green rooms, we carefully evaluated every inch of the venue and planned how to make the best use of every corner of this premium wedding destination.
Based on our on-site experience, here is the blueprint for creating a dream wedding at this venue.
Before stepping inside the venue, our team first evaluated its road accessibility. Namas International Convention Centre is located directly on the Guruvayur–Althara–Ponnani main road. It is just 5.5 km from Guruvayur town and only 5.2 km from Kunnamkulam.
Our Observation:
Being situated along the highway makes the venue easily accessible for guests. However, when a large number of guests arrive simultaneously, managing traffic efficiently becomes important. To address this, the venue features separate North and South entrance and exit gates.
Melodia’s Plan:
Our hospitality team will direct guests arriving from the Thrissur/Guruvayur side through one gate, while guests coming from the Ponnani/Malappuram side will be guided through the other. This coordinated approach helps ensure smooth vehicle movement into the spacious parking area, which accommodates approximately 250 cars and 500 two-wheelers.
The pathway from the parking area to the main hall offers an excellent opportunity to create a memorable guest arrival experience.
Our Observation:
The route from the parking area to the entrance is completely flat, with no steps, making it convenient for elderly guests and wheelchair users.
Melodia’s Plan:
This spacious front area allows us to create a beautifully illuminated entrance tunnel or a floral walkway. We can also set up photo booths or live music counters in the outdoor garden area, giving guests a memorable experience even before they enter the hall.
The centrally air-conditioned indoor hall comfortably seats 800 guests and can accommodate up to 1,200 people, making it an excellent canvas for grand wedding celebrations.
Our Observation:
With its high ceiling and excellent acoustics, the hall is suitable for a wide variety of wedding stage concepts and decorative themes.

We recently transformed this indoor hall into a contemporary wedding setting. To complement the width of the venue, we designed wave-inspired geometric side panels enhanced with warm LED strip lighting, adding depth and dimension to the stage.
A large suspended floral chandelier creates a luxurious focal point above the stage, while the staircase leading to the stage is adorned with elegant floral runners featuring white blooms and lush greenery for a natural aesthetic. The combination of this modern stage concept with the traditional ceremonial lamp creates a timeless setting that enhances wedding photography.
One of the common challenges at many large wedding venues is that guests often need to use lifts or stairs to reach the dining hall after the ceremony.
Our Observation:
One of the greatest advantages of Namas International Convention Centre is that both the main auditorium and the dining hall are located on the same ground floor.

As soon as the wedding ceremony concludes, our coordination team will ensure a smooth transition of guests into the dining area without unnecessary crowding. Since there is no need to wait for elevators or climb stairs, elderly guests, children, and families can move comfortably and conveniently.
Ensuring that the bride, groom, and their families remain relaxed throughout the wedding day is equally important. For this purpose, the venue offers three premium air-conditioned rooms.
