Distance: ~75 km (approx. 2 to 2.5 hours drive via NH 66).
Travel Experience: Air passengers arriving in Kochi can take a smooth drive on the highway down to Kumarakom. Prepaid airport taxis or pre-arranged private vehicles can transport guests directly to the resort gates.
Transport Note: App-based cabs (Uber/Ola) are easily available from the airport to the venue. However, return rides are generally not available for pickup in Kumarakom, so please pre-arrange round-trip cab transit or private charters.
Distance: ~16 km (approx. 30–35 minutes drive).
Travel Experience: Kottayam is the closest rail junction and is exceptionally well-connected to all major cities. Local station taxis and auto-rickshaws are readily available around the clock for a short ride straight to the property.
Alternative Route: If your train from Northern or Western India does not stop at Kottayam, please alight at Ernakulam Junction (ERS) or Ernakulam Town (ERN) in Kochi, located about 60 km (~1.5 hours) from the venue.

Road Quality & Vehicle Advisory: State highways leading into Kumarakom are wide and well-paved. However, the final 1 km approach on Amankari Road features a scenic, narrower layout typical of backwater resorts. The property comfortably accommodates cars, SUVs, Tempo Travellers, and mini-coaches. Please note: Full-sized 53-seater Volvo tourist buses are not recommended due to narrow turning radii on the final approach road.
