From the moment the Melodia team arrived at the main entrance of this resort, we were welcomed by the cool breeze of Yakkara and the “God’s Own Country” vibe filled with coconut groves.
As you enter through the resort’s main gate, the beautifully landscaped surroundings immediately impress the guests. One of the biggest concerns for weddings is parking, and this venue offers the perfect solution. It features a spacious and secure parking area that can accommodate more than 100 vehicles at the same time.
Upon entering the resort, the first thing you notice is the fully air-conditioned ballroom equipped with modern amenities. With a capacity of 250 guests (250 Pax Capacity), this hall is equally suitable for mehendi ceremonies, engagement functions, intimate gatherings, and corporate meetings.
Melodia selected the resort’s biggest attraction, the River View Party Lawn, as the main wedding venue. Set against the backdrop of Yakkarapuzha, this outdoor space can seat 1,500 guests at a time (1500 Seating Capacity) and accommodate more than 2,000 guests (2000+ Floating Capacity). The cool breeze from the river and the natural greenery make this venue even more romantic.
Melodia planned a two-day wedding celebration at Udaya Resort. Without compromising the beauty of the riverside open lawn, we designed beautiful floral arrangements and a live entertainment stage. We created a luxurious wedding stage decoration in a traditional Kerala style that blended perfectly with nature.
The bride, groom, and their families were provided with the resort’s finest luxury air-conditioned rooms. The river-facing wooden cottages, private cottages, suite rooms, and premium rooms featuring traditional ponds and open-to-sky showers provided guests with a five-star experience. Additionally, Melodia had pre-booked excellent local hotels located just 10 minutes away for the remaining guests.
Amid the wedding celebrations, the resort’s authentic Ayurvedic centre proved to be a great support for helping the bride, groom, and their families relax. The resort’s Destress Programmes, Herbal Beauty Packages, and Rejuvenation Therapies gave the couple a special glow and freshness on their wedding day. Guests also thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the resort’s infinity swimming pool.
