Melodia Event Management handled the post-wedding celebration of Vishnu & Sisira at Kanjiras Luxeves Pavilion, Triprayar, on September 12, 2026. The couple’s traditional Hindu wedding ceremony and thalikkettu took place at Guruvayur, followed by a day celebration for around 200 guests at Kanjiras Luxeves Pavilion.
The riverside setting of Kanjiras Luxeves Pavilion provided a natural backdrop for the celebration following the Guruvayur thalikkettu. The semi-open pavilion, with its high-ceilinged covered structure and open sides, allowed the event setup to remain connected with the surrounding greenery and backwater landscape.
The décor brought together traditional Kerala elements with the natural character of the venue. Traditional brass Nilavilakku, wooden lattice seating, and white floral arrangements complemented the setting, while the mandapam faced the scenic waters, coconut palms, and tropical greenery.
Guests were welcomed through a patterned walkway lined with traditional brass thalams. The procession featured Kathakali performers in traditional costume, adding a cultural element to the celebration and creating a connection between the traditional wedding and the Kerala setting of the venue.
One of the practical challenges during the event was an unexpected spell of strong wind from the backwater shortly before the core proceedings. The wind affected the mandapam setup and required immediate attention.
For a semi-open riverside venue, changing weather conditions can affect stage and décor arrangements. During this event, the Melodia Event Management team responded on-site by coordinating the necessary stabilization and adjustments to the mandapam and décor setup.
The team also secured the overhead floral installations and relevant setup elements while coordinating with the venue and technical teams. These adjustments were carried out while keeping the guest experience and event flow in consideration.
The mandapam was stabilized in time, allowing the proceedings to continue as planned.
